THE_UNIT is potential secret allying but we play game, I allied with him (spoken alliance) so we could draw at the end. It was an alliance game. I let him take care of one of the last guys and therefor get more regions. He beat the guy and then used the higher strength to take my regions and then draw with one of the other guys. I don't think the other guy was secretly allied with him or not so I won't mention his name. Either way it is the second time he has done this to someone to win game and maybe I shouldn't have trusted him. :) Either way, just don't trust him.

And yes I do realize most of you don't like allies too much but it was agreed on before the game. One exception; I almost never ally.

The official VW stance is in favor of backstabbing, in fact.

As is Lopdo and most experienced players.
Xerxes:Let us reason. It would be a waste. It would be madness for you and your troops to perish because of a misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.
Leonidas:Haven't you noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.

No you haven't.

Don't base that claim solely on higlander's join date to the forums.

I believe that with his rank (which he mostly earned before the XP change in V2.0) he was in this game long ago, and simply joined the forums later on.

I know you as an honourable player, highlander, but saying things such as "F you", "stupid boy" and that if you knew how to lag him you would've done so many times by now - all this doesn't add you any honour.

I'm not basing it solely on that, I'm basing it on the fact that I joined the week after Ratburn and Ratburn has played much longer than Highlander.

You honour him? Most people I know don't. They used, but after is charades on the forums, they now don't.

Oh, then I stand corrected - I didn't know that.

Well, it seems that distinguished players (such as Rat himself, if I'm not mistaken) have come to his defense in another forum thread about a week ago.

Also, what I saw and read was a vicious attack on highlander by some guy called "Guestlol" (among others), who was anything but honourable.

Therefore, highlander's furious response can at least be partly excused, as he was for the most part trying to defend himself.

I do agree that the poles joke, as well as arguing who was first on the forums\game, are his weaker points.

I myself have no idea whether that's true or not.
