I still think most people (meaning most of the lower-leveled players) would be thrilled to be in a match with someone giving up ASAP.

In large maps, I wouldn't be surprised. It would help uncrowd the map. In 1v1s it can get annoying.

Yeah, I'm only doing six to eight player games. The main complaint seems to be that there is no more chance for pairs of players because they think they are supposed to be able to play against each other on 1v1s to start the map and it unbalances it when I surrender.
