Unless you are playing some defined clan war or game where the title clearly states allies - then I like to go by one rule:

Everyone should be acting in their own best interest while attempting to win first place.

If everyone does that - the only "ally-like" moments you would have would be when you focused on a player that gets too powerful for your position at the moment and you would go back to attacking the best path to first place for you when they were down to manageable size.

Again - no idea on how to enforce this - but allying is against the spirit of the game unless you agree to it before the map starts.

Allying is seriously getting on my nerves now. Nothing can be done about it, to stop it from happening, but at least a little sign on game to label it as an allied game.

That way, you at least know. Even the people I thought wouldn't, in the other clans and whatnot, they do. I mean, at least three clan have a rule that you are always allied with your clanmates, no matter what.

I'm proud to be part of a clan that doesn't have that rule, and will strongly disapprove if I find any of them are in fact allying secretly.

I've lost a lot of rating recently from people who teamed up on me and other players, and I never got any warning.

It ruins the atmosphere of the game, and starts to degrade the trust in other players.

This isn't to say I'm completely against allying, I've actually had some very entertaining games with an ally. It certainly adds its own fun strategy. But it's not even strategy if it comes as a surprise to everyone else. It's just cheap.

True to some of your points but advertising enemies on your front page encourages noobs to ally against said names , as i find out regularly. But hey the maddness is over ,Lopdo gave me a warning but you still advertise hate.Maybe being allied on will wake you up to the real battles faced by others.

Fine, I will take you off as well. :) You have a point, and I want this to be over too.
