Your calculations are right.

With n-sided dice, you have
(n - 1) / 2n
of chance to win as attacker.

The bigger n the less important the -1 is (n -> infinity, p(win) -> 50%).

So cannot a formula be developed for the chart that you two have posted, and join that with my formula to create a master one that calculates odds based on number of die sides + units?

Yeah, sure, one exist, but it's a really complicated one.

It has like 7 joint term on both side for 8v8, or so.

Will look somethings like that:
Sum(i=1 to 8) C(i,j)*somePolynomial
I think.

Is it one 16 sided dice or two 8 side dice used in the game? 16 is the highest number rolled I have seen so far.
It does make a difference when calculating the odds.

where did you come up with 8 or 16? game is using standardized plastic 6-sided dice, same you can get at vegas

of course... I built tons of sweatshops for dice rolling... that is why It is so expensive to run this game

The highest number I have seen rolled so far is 16. A 6-sided dice would mean at least 3 are in play.

number of your troops is equal to number of dice used in throw, so you can have up to 8 6-sided dice.
