manual/border/random

People are complaining that some mode are just about luck...

so I wanted your opinion.

witch mode is the most strategic?

for me...

Manual is pure luck... If you are lucky enought to be the first one playing you have such an advantage over your opponentthat it is unfair
border: a little more strategic since you have to figure out witch territory is best so you can have the best reinforcement
random: give a chance to player playing second , extremelly strategic since you have to figure out how to attack, who to attack and everythi9ng since you can't put all your defence on one territory.

I think random is most strategic, and borders is least, since there is no strategy involving where to put your units because the game does it for you.

But borders requires strategy of getting your borders in the right places. You have to try to confine your borders to determine where your armies go, and you have to deal with a weak central area.

They all have their ups and downs, but I still think borders isn't that strategic.

Borders, I think, actually requires MORE strategy than manual because it places units for you. Manual takes away strategy by letting you choose. Your argument against borders assumes that random borders distribution is the best distribution, so if it is, borders and manual are equal.

^^agreed anyways borders is harder since the border placement can be really stupid sometimes
