I used it on an 8 region map ans was call confidence in my attacking. And yet I didn't conquer a single place out of seven attacks before I was killed. And I used attacks boosts. So honestly, the advantage isn't huge. Now if it were a happen bonus then it would be, but for its uses, it is actually weak. Still, being the wolf lover I am, I am a huge fan of it.

Start next to someone+werewolves+1 free attack boost; chances, let's see.

Let's assume for this that it is 2 against 2, a relatively common scenario. We will have the enemy using a race which doesn't affect this.

1/36 12 -> 13 never loses -> 0 chance losing
2/36 11 -> 12 loses 1/36 -> 2/36*1/36
3/36 10 -> 11 loses 3/36 -> 3/36*3/36
4/36 9 -> 10 loses 6/36 -> 4/36*6/36
5/36 8 -> 9 loses 10/36 -> 5/36*10/36
6/36 7 -> 8 loses 15/36 -> 6/36*15/36
5/36 6 -> 6 loses 26/36 -> 5/36*26/36
4/36 5 -> 5 loses 30/36 -> 4/36*30/36
3/36 4 -> 4 loses 33/36 -> 3/36*33/36
2/36 3 -> 3 loses 35/36 -> 2/36*35/36
1/36 2 -> 2 always loses -> 1/36*36/36

Gives (2+9+24+50+90+130+120+99+70+36)/36^2 = 35/72 chance losing
Square that to get chance of losing both rolls from the boost: 23.6% chance losing both times, or 76.4% chance of winning cheaply under these conditions.

Already in Calc 2, it is a bit too late.

Do you know how the gradual the 15% attack boost decreases after 5 territories? Or is that for Lopdo's brain only? :P

Well, since 15/5 = 3, I'm guessing it''s 3% per region.
Xerxes:Let us reason. It would be a waste. It would be madness for you and your troops to perish because of a misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.

no, it is not :) Depends on number of total regions in the map, you are down to 0 when you control half of the map. It might seem that by then it would be too late, but the bonus gets useless much sooner

Lopdo you are so smart. I have to agree with you. You are always s wise and clever. But since you programmed the race could you give us the formula you used so we can straighten this ut like mathematians? If we use it for oursleves you could always sue us.
The guards gaze at you:"Prepare yourselves" If you get the game that is from you are awesome.
