Well there we go.

This is great news. Please check HC mode specifically. I agree with Ozserf that something is wrong with the attacks. I stopped using dragons because I would routinely lose attacks that I was (almost) always winning before. Such as attacking with an 8 and losing to a 3. I had an experience where I had three 8s touching a 5 and lost the first two (on the same turn) while using an attack boost and the third without the boost. Now that is really random bad luck. But it happened all the time.

If it helps the test - my experience with this was in HC mode and I don't think I had that problem in ATT mode. I believe that somehow the glitch (that I am convinced of) needs for each die to win in HC mode when using an attack bonus race rather than adding up the totals, but don't know why - I just know that when I play as undead I win a lot more of these attacks and not just when using a boost.

I would get bored and completely nerf the defence of everything.

Okay. I stopped using my dragons some time ago - because I was convinced that they were glitched - for reasons already stated.

I have been using only dragons for the last two days, just to test them in various scenarios - with mixed results.

I accept that random luck happens and that I should not expect to win every even (8v8, 6v6, etc.) or slightly stronger attacks (8v7, 5v4). Also - I recognize that 5% attack bonus is next to nothing (turns a roll of 20 into a 21, basically breaking a tie once in a while).

My experience from before combined with my last two days to retest them now brings me to believe that dragons are working just fine (compared to other races) in defense (in all modes) and in Attrition.

I am still getting weird results in HC mode when attacking. My luck is far worse with dragons when attacking in HC mode - but have no hard data. I am still losing when using an 8 attacking a 5 (this happens repeatedly) for example.

I agree and accept that dragons are not glitched in the other situations.

If they are not glitched when attacking in HC mode - then I have very bad luck - far from any statistical norm.

Note: I am posting this in both Dragon Users Forum and If I Were a Computer Programmer in the hopes that it helps with the data run that lopdo indicated he would be conducting.

Well guys, this is the balance of luck, so this bad luck of your ozzy and beatlesfan maybe means that you were very lucky some time, but to keep the balance you must have bad luck for a while (seriously for me its like:8V5 (lose) 3V7(win), 7V4(lose),6V8(win), etc etc and not only on att but in HC also). So expect to have massive luck someday. ;)
