Boost confusion

I am a bit confused with the boosts. I purchased the 10 defense boosts for 300 shards, and it appears that it actually cost me 600 coins and I only got 3 boosts. Also, on the in-game screen where it shows how many boosts you have, it shows that I have 3 attack boosts, yet I am unable to use them and I never bought them. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

you had 10 of each boosts at the begining, you can use only 3 boosts per game... there will be detailed how to play screen, I just didn't have enough time

are you sure it took you 600 shards (not coins, right)?

Quite sure. I had a bit over 1100 shards before, and after the purchase I had a little over 500.
