Can't become perium member

I can't become a perium member! I don't want to have to pay money so I decided to just earn up a whole wack of shards. I then, after a long time of playing god my amount of shards needed to buy a 1 month perium membership. And then, when I click the button... It says I don't have enough! I have well over enough. It costs 800 and I have 1300! So... what the heck!
