No option to surrender in draw situation

Postby Logrosmoo » Fri Aug 19, 2011 5:51 pm

Unless I'm missing something, since the "surrender" button becomes the "offer draw" button when the conditions are met, there is no way to surrender in such a situation - only quit which means no points.

Surely this is an oversight? If someone refuses the draw you either have to play the waiting game you had to play before draws were in , or quit and get nothing for the time you invested...

Quitting gives you the same points as surrendering(I'm not sure why they are both there).

It does? My bad then - I definitely don't get the score screen if I quit - it just takes me back to the lobby - must have missed that the points are added anyway - cheers!

Since when does quitting give you points? I believe only surrendering lets you keep the experience you earned that game...
This too shall pass.

That's bad, because then the problem listed here goes from being imaginary to becoming a real problem... quit is still useful if you have to leave the game and the other player won't accept a draw.

that is what surrender is for, you will surrender and then surrender button will change to quit. There just won't be surrender and quit button at the same time
