Vortex Wars

So I was noticing with at least Tannenbaums when I attack from both defense boosted and non defense boosted areas that the attack results sometimes seem off. What I mean is once I attacked with a shielded 8 against another 8 (reptile) and I scored a 26, they scored a 32, now he had all 8 left and I was reduced to the usual 1... now this was attrition, and mine was shielded so I have NO idea why it didn't destroy any of his units... This has happened in several games. Not sure if my math is off, but something isn't quite adding up in my opinion.

The rolls are randomized, even with that +20% roll you can get very bad numbers.

Is this a consistent thing? Are you losing ALL or nearly ALL of your rolls? Or are these instances few and generally far between?

Even when you lose a roll in attrition, both generally go down in units, say I attack an 8 with an 8 and we tie, we both go down to 1 unit on each involved space. What I'm saying is the rolls seem fine, but the calculation of how many units are destroyed on attacking and defending, regardless of winning or losing, seems off.

Unless your rolls are only 0-1 apart, the opponent's space generally doesn't go down to 1.

That happens. When you're further than 2-3 off their roll, you're not guaranteed a drop in troops.

past 2 weeks of me gaming i have won 7-8 out of 100-200 games, every time my rating gets back to 1400 my luck suddenly deteriorates to a stage where no matter what or who i attack i loose all my units without even damaging theirs. its really annoying please help[color=#0000FF][/color]

So your saying luck is directly related to rating?
How would you confirm this?
