Does snowflake have minus bonus?

It seems half of the times I attack with snowflakes against a lower number that is 1 less than my region I lose. I am not kidding. I lose like 5 times every game to lower rolls and these are like 10 minutes games. In same game today this happened I also lost my to a 2. Most of my wins are like 12-11. or 24- 23 or number that I precisely win when my losses are like 2-10. Even with same number of units they can get 3 to even 5 times higher with their bonus disabled against a a race that is said to have no minus counters. I have had snowflakes half a year now. And the results of my rolls are always to my disadvantage. I try to use boosts, but mostly I lose both rolls. My logic says the rolls should be more even with no bonuses, but I have a clear disadvantage. This is a strategy game but i could have a perfect strategy and still lose because I lose rolls where others should clearly have an advantage.

The five will only win about 3-4% of the time, and that's only if the races are even and no boosts are used.

That's what it's supposed to be, but apparently that percentage is way higher in the real world.

No, that's about right. The five wins about twice out of every hundred times, it's more with defense boost or a shield.
