Got daily reward twice.

I got my daily reward twice, why ?
The guards gaze at you:"Prepare yourselves" If you get the game that is from you are awesome.

Because you deserve it
I think it is because you logged in "late" one Vortex Wars day and then "early" the next day. It is based on VW time - not your local time. Depends on what time zone you are in - but if you logged in during the last 30 minutes of the VW day (as your first log in) - you would get your daily shards. If you then logged out - 30 min later a new VW day begins - you log in then - it is a new day = you get more daily shards and are wondering how you got two of them within an hour and it is 2 in the afternoon for you.
