Vortex Wars

I have played some games on the v1.6 of the game with upgrades disabled and in 3 games one opponent could win too easily because he could beat 8s with 5 or 6 almost everytime. I know this can happen sometimes, but was happening really too often.

Never have seen something like this in the first 100 games i played on previous versions, and it happend 3 times in a roll in v1.6, so i guess there is a way to cheat the game and increase the dice values in v1.6. I am surprise noone else is talking about it here.

To be safe i am not playing until v1.7 is out and i ask the admins to keep the eyes open.

I encounter this one time about 3 days ago. Opponent very unusually lucky with low numbers. I forgot who it was, and I did a rage quit! I really could not believe my unluck... like I have never seen, to the point of ridiculous.

That said, it could have just been a continually bad series of rolls... but like I said... ridiculously stupid bad. I lost the game having should have won it easily.

The chance of a 6 beating an 8 in offense to defense is about 1 in 8, or 12%. A 5 verse 8 is about 3%. It can be seen in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1107

It's not a high probability, but it is not impossible either, especially when the dice are rolled several hundred times in many games. It is why many people prefer attrition mode of play. Makes the effects of luck a little less.

three 5's v 8
5 v 6
4 v 6
8 v 3
on and on and on. I am the high number on each of those listed. I would not make a post having played so many games to know better. This was just as I said... crazy stupid bad.

I am raising the flag for the same problem...Now I had stopped playing games on v1.6...Is there no solution for this problem??

Did you take race bonuses into consideration? Maybe lopdo has messed around with it lastly?

I must say that in my last few games I've noticed extreme ammounts of "luck". On S map (2p) my enemy won 3 v 6, then 2 v 5 right away. He lost anyway cause next turn my 4 won with his 8. I've also played on Scotland map, and at least 1/3 of my attacks to higher troops was succesful. Not something extreme (2v8) but like 3v4, 4v6, etc. Thats realy strange and disturbing.
