Vortex Wars

Everytime i log on to the game it will give my vortex shards for the day, but then i will get a pop up saying that i'm already running the game and log me out, and will contiue to do so even after i restarted my web browser. the only way i can seem to get rid of the error msg is to log off and back into my PC, (might as well restart since i takes just as long either way ) i know its to prevent people from running 2 games at the same time, but i don't do that, nor do i have another account.
please fix this

p.s. (i even logged of the day b4 when i stopped playing to see that might help any, it doesn't)

just what i say to all, refresh/re connect the net

I have what I think is the same problem and disconnecting/reconnecting from the net does not help (perhaps because i have static, not dynamic IP?). I have not been able to log in at all for the past several days.

The first time I try to log in, I get the message: ERROR: You can only run one instance of this game on your computer.

Second, I click "Login" again and I get: ERROR: Your account has been used on different computer, you have been signed out.

Third, I click "Login" again and I get: "CONNECTING..." and it just hangs like that forever -- it never connects.

This stinks! I liked playing VortexWars and now it seems I am permanently unable to access the game, from any web browser.

IP doesn't have anything to do about it, you don't have to worry about that. You don't need to "restart internet" as jokern keeps suggesting, but you need to restart your flash VM (if simple page refresh doesn't help), to do that you need to close every program that uses flash (browser, skype...) or restart computer to make sure you got them all. I know this sucks, but it is flash's fault, not mine :/ It is there to prevent multiboxing, but as you can see it causes some problems

Thanks. Yes, restarting the whole computer worked. I'm not sure what application was using Flash, but obviously something was that I was not aware of... anyway, now I can play again.

well somehow it stopped, what i did was un-clicked the auto log in box log in then logged out, next day i came on logged in and clicked the box again. been fine sever sense "shrug"
