Yes, getting rid of quit will be good.
It is the same, except quit kicks you from the game, so you cannot continue watch if you wish.

Been a while since I was in a protracted draw situation, but in the end I quit and did NOT get any XP...
* Just happened again - I'de tested that in a game where no draw is available that quit still gave XP and it did - but I got to a draw situation again and quit - bang - no xp.
