Was it just the counter showed it or did the player really got less troops than supposed to get? Cause that is a quite important part.

I'm pretty sure you were the only one to see that, not the other players ...
What answer the others when u asked ?
The counter is sometimes "frozen", happened to me too few times, but not since a while .... and never in negative ...

This happens a lot, but it never really affects gameplay. Sometimes the game glitches up and you can't take your go, though.
