I'm fed up losing 100 ratings every game.I get second i lose 100 , i get third i lose 100 and 4th,5th.There must be a bug, i did use search engine and posted on that thread but got no response.So hopefully with a new topic you might respond Lopdo.

It's the 2000+ ratings bug. That's why the top people rarely go down.

Lopdo will probably have to reset your rating (that's how he solved it before)

I have ratings below 2000 and still lose 100 , i lost 5 games in a row thats a nice 500 lost.And last time he reset me i lost nearly 600 ratings as i was at 2000+.Might as well lose all the way down to zero.

Lopdo already posted a proposal to totally redo the rating system. I doubt he will "fix" the current one - seems pointless if this one is going away.

I don't like the minus 100 either. I think the total "change" for all players on the map should cancel each other out and guests being on the map should not count - only registered players.

Examples:

You play against all guests - your rating will not change at all no matter how you finish.

2 registered players and 1 guest - the higher finisher of the registered goes up by the same amount that the other registered player goes down - does not matter how the guest does (1st, last - does not matter). How many points depends only on the initial ratings of the registered players (cap can still stay at 100 max).

Same for more players - ignore how the guests do and "share the points" - up or down- among the registered only. 8 player map with 6 guests and 2 registered - both registered finish 7th and 8th is the same as if they played each other in 1v1.
