For those interested in clans, the opening posts will provide you with a listing of all of the currently active clans.

Just took some time and re-read the opening pages of this thread. Quite nostalgic. Good times, good times.

I am going to request that 3 clans post as to whether or not they are active. If they do not, I am going to make a motion that they be removed from the Active Clans listing. I will also post on their respective threads.

The 3 clans are:

Order of Secrets
Renegade Rangers
X Riders

Was there ever talk of the relationship between being an active clan and being a member of the Council?

If you aren't an active clan, you shouldn't be part of the Council, that's logic. And an active clan must be able to evidence that they have at least 4 active members - seeing as that pertains to having a 4v4 clan war. So I raise three issues for voting.

A.) In order to be a member of the Council - the clan must be defined as active.

B.) An active clan must be composed of at least 4 members.

C.) An active member is defined as one who plays the game and/or posts to the forums at least once a week.

Statute II.
The Vortex Wars Council is comprised of one designated clan leader for each Active Clan.

Actually, Statute II. already addresses the activity part in my opinion. As the Council is comprised of a clan leader for each Active Clan, it goes to say that a leader of an inactive clan has no business being in the council.

But, I dispute that they are an Active Clan. Take a look at their own thread over the last 4 months or so. They are inactive.
