The following message has been posted on the Vortex Wars Council Forum page. Please note that the Vortex Wars Council Forum page has NOTHING to do with the Vortex Wars forum that you are on right now. It also has NOTHING to do with this thread that you are on.

The Vortex Wars Council Forum is a separate website where five of the Council members registered - but there has been next to no activity. The following message is really aimed at those five Council members:

Okay - No one wants to take over this forum - so I am going to shut it down on Saturday.

So - if there is anything that you would like to personally do with your account before it is removed - now is the time.

Sometime on Saturday I plan to do the following, I think in this order:

1 Ban each account selecting the option to remove all posts - that will "clean the slate" and remove everything that is here.

2 Delete/Remove each account.

3 Shut down the site.

Can we all agree to put up our own clan-personal rules on who can post what on our threads, and that violators will be punished... I know this will be hard to enforce, and there is no real way to punish people, but it should not have to be implemented in the first place.

The Knights have requested that non-Knights/Squires should not post on there thread unless it meets certain conditions, and has requested that it's members do the same to other clans.

I feel that we should all agree to respect the Knights' rules and that the Knights, along with every other clansmen will respect any rules the other clans impose on the topic.

It said nothing like that, it said that the rules apply to the Knights, but the only thing that applies to Knights on other threads is that they do not represent the Knights. Now, we all know why this rule was implemented, and I find it a little sad that the clan leader has to insist that the opinions of his second in command are invalid just so he can keep him for games. Personally, I would never accept someone who behaved like that into my clan, or if I did, I would have them leave when I found out they were like that.

But rather than continuing with my opinions about that, I'd like to say that I would support the Council's decision to enforce the clan rules of each thread. The only thing that's really in doubt is just how much the council would actually be able to enforce, because if council rules demanded Highlander was demoted, or whatever we come up with, I sincerely doubt anything like that would actually end up happening. The council just doesn't have enough power.

Just to be clear - I was not trying to "lawyer speak" the rules on posting on clan threads. I would just like the flame wars to stop.

Mods have enforced rules in the past which were similar to what I posted. It is not an exact science.

I have no issue with someone posting something nice on the clan page or even something that is directly on topic.

One of the problems though is that clans are attempting to run their own clan and others pop up to insult the idea, or comment that "things are falling apart" when they have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. I think this undermines what the clan is trying to do.

What I am saying is not just about the Knights. For example - the 4R posted to their thread and also created another thread on their new structure - only to have some other clan insinuate that the idea was flawed. I agree with the Riders - there are many players that you are missing - just because they are not already on the forum does not mean they don't exist. Their strategy (and that of the Knights) will help all of us bring even more players in the game onto the forum.

But as the Riders and Knights are already working on somewhat similar expansions - you guys just have to post that "there is no one left that isn't already in a clan". Not only are you wrong - you are shutting down the potential for growing this game and inspiring more players to join - both the game and the forum.

So - there really is not a "new" enforceable rule with my clan page post - it was just a reminder of the way in which Mods have enforced this in the past.

I don't see a need for a Council rule on this - but if you have one - I would be willing to support it if it were reasonable.

I do not support anything that restricts Clan Leaders from having 100% control of their individual clans. The council rules should only apply to multiple or all clans - not any internal clan business, including who they do or don't have as members or as leaders.

its your arrogant behaviour that should be at question here Autunmwolf17 , when asked to leave the clan thread your the one that refused.So don't play the innocent victim , what right have you demand , you can;'t even control your members from spamming. Thats cyber-bullying demanding my demtion just because you lost another arguement.Maybe the council should look into the matter more deeply and find that certain factions have been spamming and going off topic more than others. I say that all clans should have input into a code of conduct and respect for each clan , the way it used to be.

Maybe try and finish this petty hate you have for me Autunmwolf17 before you lose even more respect and face.

This is exactly the type of behavior that BeatlesFan was just talking about. This is a very provoking comment, that, though on topic, it is is a challenge of not only Autumn's personality, but his clan, and is very disrespectful, to put it lightly.
