I could be the Alpha, considering that I come here and read all the posts around here at least once a day.
But I don't think it would matter, considering the game closing in a few week and all that.

You have to be a Wolf with the Pack as your chief commitment (Pack always comes first if you're multiclan). There were other requirements in the past, but I don't see much of a need for that.

There are also specific rules that an Alpha has to follow hypothetically as well, but they're really not that much.

Anyway, I would like to officially announce my campaign for BetaWolf. I visit and post on the forums several times a day and I have years of experience working with the Pack. I hope you all will consider voting for me so I can continue that work.

When I saw the game wasn't going to die after all, I seriously considered running against Fang to be Alpha again. Admittedly, I've been thinking about it for a while. However, after further reflection, I decided I am currently still too busy with real life commitments to give VortexWars and the WolfPack the time that it deserves. But, depending on where the game goes under Beaver, it might finally be time to give it a go again this summer. We shall see.

Aye, but we're having elections. I'm under the impression that they're separate and it's not just runner-up. If nobody runs against me though, I guess I'd just keep my position.

I have no idea now.

To vote: Reply on this page with your top two choices for Alpha. First choice is worth 5 points, second is worth 3. Whoever gains the most support will be the new Alpha, with second place taking the position of Beta.

As for rules, the new Alpha can't go kicking people, editing history, or any other thing considered detrimental to the Pack. You can reformat the page, change the way we do some things, but maintain the historian value of what we keeps on our page.

I guess I'm technically running for Alpha now. I still want your vote, first choice or second, but if I end up with the most points, understand I am likely to step down to be BetaWolf.

If I do not win either position, I would like to request 48 hours to save certain lists and data on the front page for future use before anything is changed, if that is the wish of the new Alpha.

With that in mind, I vote myself first and Fang second.

Also, my Alpha Rules (Fang's apply too of course, though there is a lot of overlap)

1. The clan remains "The WolfPack", and it's members are "Wolves"
2. Autumnwolf17, the Founder, cannot be kicked out or removed
3. Other established members can't be kicked out without very good basis (no kicking sprees)
4. Elections for desired positions should be held on a reasonable basis
5. In the event of the Alpha's departure or extended absence, either the Founder or next-in-command is to take control and hold an election within a reasonable timeframe
6. Current activities and major records should be continued by the new Alpha, allotted to another member, or otherwise changed/dealt with by the new Alpha
7. All WolfPack laws must be consistent with the overall rules for the game and forum
8. No loopholes
