Every member listed as active has been reported as active within the last month. I do not plan on re-checking until next month.

Some that are listed active are not active in-game, while others are not active on the forum, therefore harder to contact while in-game.

There are multiple ways we go about checking activity. One way I did this last year when we had many forum active members was through PM. Another way is tracking down everyone in-game, or now just checking their profile to see the last time they were active (same can be done on the forum). Doing both of these is best, that way no members are left out.

No disrespect meant, I'm just trying to understand how things work (and stop feeling bad about joining a clan that went dormant).
How exactly does reporting as active work? I mean... just among the High Creed, the only person I meet on regular basis is Jon. If I check the accounts of the very first listed, Kalendan, I learn that (s)he last visited forums on Wed 20 Nov 2013 12:22 am and game 73 days ago
So then it's perfectly understandable that they cannot join Game of Thrones, or World Domination or a similar tournament...

P.S.
If you prefer to solve this through PM, let me know please :)

I was inactive cuz I moved back to the USA and cuz my pc broke.

Aren't the "Ancestors" the inactive players? I meant, it's not as if someone would be kicked out just for not logging in regularly... I also have periods with no time for games - that's why I tend to play those where you can drop off and pick up later with no big harm...

I added the "Ancestors" last time I was leader because 80% of the clan was just inactive members that nobody wanted to take off. They get added back (usually a rank or two lower) if they become active again. They regain their rank simply by being here and showing they still know the ropes. Just as Derka did.

I know there was no disrespect, I am simply trying to help you understand. Kalendan is an on and off player, I keep him on because he always comes back within a month or two, and stays around for about four months on average.

I take members off and out them in the Ancestors list after checks that I do on random dates.

I do so when I believe that we have too many inactive members. I count "too many" as over 30%, or when we recruit a bunch of new members and I decide that their names don't need to be among a bunch of inactive members. Right now, I know as a fact, that at least 16 of our 25 or so listed active members are actually active. That is over 30%, however, I like to wait until we recruit a good amount of members, and then do it. This way, we seem to have more members AND I can get rid of any recruits that decided to not stay loyal.

To put it short, I do it when I am in the mood.

I was wondering, what are the conditions for double-clan-membership? I suspect there is a limit choice of clans for that, and possibly something more to it?

As far as I know, it's allowed, as long as it's not with any enemies (like we have those either).
The leader or CO-LEADER should be able to give you more information if needed haha.
